Hello! My name is Marcella Kingman, and I’m from Cary, North Carolina. I’m a recent graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, where I obtained a B.S. in Neuroscience and minored in Chemistry and Studio Art.

When I first began photography around age 12, I remember appreciating how the medium allowed me to capture the love and attention I give to my surroundings. I quickly realized that photography’s expansive nature gives both me and my subjects a creative voice.

My work leans heavily toward human portraiture, primarily because I find that the most rewarding part of photography is capturing people in a way that makes them feel seen.
